Beto of Everton celebrates scoring against Liverpool(Image: Liverpool FC/Liverpool FC via Getty Images)
Everton striker Beto seemingly sent a message to LeBron James with his celebration against Liverpool.
Everton's lead in the game lasted just a few minutes before Alexis Mac Allister equalised for Liverpool.
After Beto opened the scoring, he celebrated by flexing his arms by his side in a similar fashion to NBA star LeBron James, widely regarded as one of the modern greats of the sport in the United States, who also uses the same celebration on the court that Beto mimicked at Goodison.

The celebration from the Everton striker could be a message particularly to Liverpool, owing to James' connection to the Reds.
The 40-year-old is an avid Liverpool supporter and even owned a two percent stake in the club which he first purchased back in 2011.
The stake owned by the Los Angeles Lakers star held a value of around £4.7million back in 2011, which climbed up to £37million by March 2021.
It was at this time when James converted his two percent stake in Liverpool into one percent of Fenway Sports Group's, - the owners of the Reds - overall empire.

A little over a year into James' partnership with FSG, the stake was worth around $90million (£72.3million).
This was until March 2023, when FSG issued a statement confirming that James had increased his equity into Liverpool's owners' empire as part of a "lifetime marketing deal".
