Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has said that he is not surprised that defender Dean Hoijsen has been linked with a move away from the club in the upcoming transfer window.
Liverpool are one of the sides said to be interested in the centre-back, as well as Real Madrid.
Earlier in the year it was reported that the Reds were one of several clubs tracking the 19-year-old ahead of the summer, with the player having a £50 million release clause in his contract.
He’s not the only Bournemouth player to be linked with a move to Anfield with left-back Milos Kerkez also a target.
The Reds’ sporting director Richard Hughes has strong links with Bournemouth, having made the move himself from the Vitality Stadium last summer.

Huijsen made his national team debut for Spain during the international break, and Iraola said that his performances for both club and country are bound to result in interest.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Bournemouth’s FA Cup quarter-final against Manchester City, Iraola was asked about the interest in Huijsen.
"We are not surprised, probably because he has now made his national team debut,” he said.
At the moment I'm not thinking about it," said El Chiringuito.
"I'm thinking about finishing the season well and then when the right time comes, we'll see.
"It's an honour that such an important team is interested in you.
