Mohamed Salah is on course to enjoy his best season yet for Liverpool, with the Egyptian international in sensational form.

The 32-year-old winger already has 30 goals and 22 assists in all competitions with Salah the early favourite for this year’s Ballon d’Or award, an achievement that could be all-but secured if Liverpool goes on to win the Premier League and potentially the UEFA Champions League.

With Carlton Cole naming Salah as one of the Premier League greats, the former AS Roma star could solidify himself this season as the best wide-attacker to ever play in the modern era of English football given the pace the forward is at.

Yet despite Salah’s form this season, Ibrahima Konate has still seen it fit to send a hilarious message to his Liverpool teammate after what the Anfield icon recently posted on Instagram.

With Ramadan beginning this week, Salah posted a heartwarming image of him and his family setting up decorations for the month, yet Konate saw the comedic side of the post with the Liverpool winger seen standing on the sofa, with the defender replying: “Brother be careful please”

Indeed, Salah is on course to break another Premier League record in the next few games, meaning staying fit has to be the 32-year-old’s prime objective between now and the end of the season if the winger is to end the campaign on the biggest high.

A second Premier League title coupled with another Champions League trophy would cement Salah’s status as one of the greatest in Liverpool’s entire history, a fact that many supporters already believe after the forward’s exploits this season.

Yet none of that means much if Salah ended the season with a somewhat comedic injury picked up from decorating at home, and Konate’s comment is one that will resonate with a number of fans heading into the final two months of the campaign.
