Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes has claimed that Liverpool have been 'on fire' this season.
The Brazilian midfielder described the Reds as one of the best teams in the world ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final and singled out three of their biggest threats.
Arne Slot's side are looking to bounce back from Tuesday's Champions League exit to Paris Saint-Germain when they travel to Wembley for the first opportunity for domestic silverware this season.
The Magpies stand in their way with Eddie Howe looking to become the first manager in 70 years to bring domestic cup success to St James' Park.
Ahead of the final, the midfielder has lauded Liverpool and heaped praise on his counterparts Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch.

"I think the midfield is the heart of the team, everything is going through the midfield, if you have a consistent midfield, you can defend and attack as one," said Guimaraes.
"I think Joe [Joelinton], myself and Sandro [Tonali] we compliment each other so it's important to have a good midfield, you can fight for everything.
"We hope to have a good day to help the team to keep the clean sheet, it's going to be very important because Liverpool is on fire.
In my opinion, they are the best team in the world.
