Brazil legend Cafu has tipped Trent Alexander-Arnold to thrive at Real Madrid should the Liverpool right-back swap Anfield for the Bernabeu this summer.

Madrid has made a habit of signing players on free transfers in recent times, most recently landing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.
"They said the same thing about me," admitted two-time World Cup winner Cafu, speaking at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Madrid.
He is the perfect age, the perfect player."
Alexander-Arnold neglected to discuss his future after scoring Liverpool's winning goal in Sunday's 1-0 victory over Leicester in the Premier League.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk, meanwhile, said that Alexander-Arnold's wishes should be respected should he decide to leave the club.
"Since I joined the club, he has been a fantastic player and there's a lot of good things that he will always be remembered for if he decides to leave," said Van Dijk
But he's a Liverpool player at this point and he's important for our team."
