Aurelien Tchouameni’s future at Real Madrid is once again the source of speculation, although Carlo Ancelotti doesn’t seem keen on the idea of letting the Frenchman go.
According to reports in Spain, the midfielder could be set to leave the Bernabeu soon, with Relevo claiming Real is open to offers.
If Liverpool is to reignite its interest in the 24-year-old, it seems there might still be one major roadblock.
Despite protestations from higher up, Carlo Ancelotti is said to still have faith in the midfielder.
The Italian has already said as much this season, having lavished him with praise after a win over Real Betis in September.
"He has shown all his qualities.
Defensively he is an irreplaceable player," Ancelotti said (via Forbes).
Whether the tide has turned since then for Ancelotti remains to be seen.

The Athletic reported back in August that Liverpool has retained an interest in Tchouameni, although the player has shown no desire to leave Madrid.
Explaining his decision to turn down Liverpool, Tchouameni told Le Parisien: "The first to come forward was Liverpool, we had discussions.
