Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo pulled off an iconic celebration after putting the Reds 3-1 against Tottenham and putting one hand on the Premier League trophy.

Arne Slot's men faced Spurs at Anfield knowing a point would crown them champions of England.

After Dominic Solanke attempted to spoil the party, Liverpool soon found themselves in cruise control courtesy of three quickfire goals.

Luis Diaz converted from close distance to level the scoring before Alexis Mac Allister netted a superb goal.

Gakpo added further breathing room to make it 3-1 with a well-worked goal inside the box.

Spurs failed to clear the ball from a corner and after the ball fell to Gakpo, he beat two players before swinging the ball into the bottom corner with his right foot.

After scoring his 17th goal of the season, the Netherlands international immediately ripped off his Liverpool shirt to reveal a white vest with text reading: "I belong to Jesus."

The vest was a carbon copy of Brazilian legend Kaka.

The former FIFA World Player of the Year debuted the text after the 2007 Champions League final win over Liverpool.

After Carlo Ancelotti's men defeated the Reds in Athens, the then-AC Milan star dropped to his knees, with his jersey off, to reveal the exact same vest and text that Gakpo presented after scoring against Spurs.

Alongside the reveal of the vest, Gakpo also did his normal celebration of holding his finger against his head.
