Liverpool dropped two more points in the Premier League title race as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Fulham at Anfield.
The Reds put on a spirited showing despite Andy Robertson’s early red card as Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota equalised after Andreas Pereira and Rodrigo Muniz gave the visitors the lead twice.
Robertson endured a torrid outing for the Reds as he picked up an early injury before receiving his marching orders.
For his Fulham counterpart Antonee Robinson, though, it was exactly the opposite.

Robinson has keen admirers at Liverpool and has continued to grow into one of the most reliable performers at Fulham.
Ahead of the game, Silva hailed Robinson and claimed that the Fulham defender could stop Mohamed Salah if he’s at the top of his game.
And that was exactly what happened as he largely kept the Egyptian at bay and showed his class in attack with two fantastic assists.

However, the Fulham manager refused to dwell too much on his prized asset as he admitted that he doesn’t want to fuel rumours of a potential transfer amid links with Liverpool.
“What a performance, difficult to express in words.
It’s not the first time,” said Silva in his post-match press conference.
“If we have to play again in two days, he’s going to be ready again.
He’s a great athlete and has an open mind to learn.
When asked if he’s the best fullback in the Premier League currently, Silva added: “If you’re asking the Fulham manager of course I’m going to say yes!
“I don’t want to speak too much about him because in the coming January, it’s again going to be the same story about Robinson.
He’s very focused on the way he wants to behave so let’s keep it like that.”
On a night when Robertson was sent off on his home turf, Robinson passed his dress rehearsal at Anfield in some style as he delivered a spirited showing.
Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Milos Kerkez so it remains to be seen if they press ahead with a move for Robinson.
However, their need for a left-back is starting to become abundantly clear as Robertson’s indifferent form and Kostas Tsimikas’ injury issues have emerged as big problems for Arne Slot.
Whether or not they decide to take action in the January transfer window, however, remains to be seen.
