It’s not often a 21-year-old finds himself standing out for both club and country.
But Liverpool fans already know that Conor Bradley isn’t like most young players.
From his fearless runs to his quick recovery after injury, he’s shown maturity well beyond his age.
This season, he’s gone from promising backup to trusted team player.
And while he continues to grow under Arne Slot at Anfield, he’s also been putting in big performances in a Northern Ireland shirt.
That mix of club success and international influence often gets overlooked.
But not this time?
While Liverpool eyes the Premier League title, one of their own has picked up a major individual honour.
What award did Conor Bradley receive?
Bradley has been named Northern Ireland’s Player of the Year for 2024.
It’s a reward for a year that saw him make 10 appearances for his country, including captaining the side in Nations League fixtures against Belarus and Bulgaria.
The defender was presented with the award at the AXA Training Centre, and he didn’t hide what it meant to him.
“I’m really proud to win the award,” he said.
“Obviously 2024 was a good year, not only for me but for the whole team.”
His performances included a memorable winner against Scotland and a double in the victory over Andorra.
He also played every minute of the Nations League campaign.
Looking ahead, Bradley’s enthusiasm for international duty remains strong.
“For the fans, I just can’t wait to see you again in the summer and in September when we’re back for the qualification games,” he said.
“Let’s keep doing well together.”
Back at Liverpool, Bradley has made 14 league appearances this season and featured in last weekend’s 2-1 win over West Ham United.
With continuous reports suggesting Trent Alexander-Arnold’s potential move to Real Madrid, there’s talk that Bradley could have an even bigger role next season.
But for now, he’s focused on helping Liverpool see out a title-winning campaign—and celebrating his well-earned recognition on the international stage.
