Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley has been named the Reavey Solicitors International Personality of the Year for the 2024/25 season, recognizing his standout contributions to Northern Ireland’s national team and his rising profile in world football.
The accolade, awarded by the Northern Ireland Football Writers’ Association (NIFWA), underscores Bradley’s pivotal role in his country’s recent resurgence, including their promotion to League B of the UEFA Nations League.
Bradley, 21, received the award at Liverpool’s AXA Training Center.
The Liverpool man captained his nation during key Nations League fixtures last year and netted three goals across 2024/25, including a decisive strike against Luxembourg.
His efforts helped Northern Ireland secure a second-place finish in their Nations League group, reigniting hopes for future World Cup qualification campaigns.
Speaking after receiving the award, Bradley said as quoted by the Belfast Telegraph:
“I am so happy and incredibly proud to win this award?
It is extremely special to win an award for playing for your country.”
“It’s been quite a journey with Northern Ireland so far, from making my debut against Malta in 2021 to scoring my first goal against Scotland last year.”
“I added another two against Andorra and scored against Luxembourg in the Nations League this season.”
Bradley’s international heroics complement another strong campaign at Liverpool, where he has made 14 Premier League appearances despite battling hamstring issues.
His performances have positioned him as a potential long-term successor to Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose speculated departure could elevate Bradley’s role at Anfield
The NIFWA Awards ceremony, scheduled for May 4 at Belfast’s Crowne Plaza, will formally celebrate Bradley’s achievement alongside inductions of Northern Ireland legends Stuart Dallas and Steven Davis into the Hall of Fame.
Meanwhile, Reavey Solicitors director David Kernaghan said of Bradley:
“First of all, it’s great to see Conor back playing for Liverpool in recent games after his injury problems this season.”
“Happily, he was able to play a full part in Northern Ireland’s successful Nations League campaign last year and has become one of the first names on Michael O’Neill’s teamsheet.
“Conor has an outstanding future in the game and we look forward to watching him on his journey.
“Reavey are once again delighted to support the Northern Ireland Football Writers awards.”
