Liverpool once again battled their way through an entertaining draw in the Premier League after their 2-2 result against Fulham.
The Reds saw Andy Robertson sent off early on in the second-half as Liverpool also fought from behind twice to secure a valuable point at Anfield, with Arne Slot’s side showing their resilience and their quality having played the majority of the game with a numerical disadvantage.
Although Trent Alexander-Arnold was criticised for his Liverpool performance, the majority of the squad can be proud with themselves in how they performed against Fulham, who could have secured a famous win at Anfield had they had that extra ounce of quality.
And defender Antonee Robinson has shared what impressed him most about Liverpool on Saturday.

Speaking on Match of the Day, the USA international was blown away by how good Liverpool still were even with a player sent off in Robertson, with Robinson noting how physically fit the Reds were when down a man.
With Robinson a target for Liverpool, the 27-year-old defender himself enjoyed an incredible performance with two assists for Fulham, yet it wasn’t enough for the west London side to come away with all three points.
Robinson said when asked about the game at Anfield: “It was a crazy game.
We’re not strangers to the atmosphere here, it really pushed them on, and credit to them, it didn’t feel like they had 10 men for most of the game.
“There were times we won the ball back and we’re still blowing from defending, and if you said before the game we’d come away with a draw away at Anfield with Liverpool top of the league, we probably would have took it.”

Slot’s tactical changes for Liverpool after Robertson’s sending off changed the game for the Reds, with the Merseyside giants managing to fight back and to secure a point that could be valuable come the end of the season.
And the Dutch coach had every right to be proud of his team after the result, with Slot praising Ryan Gravenberch for slotting into Liverpool’s defence to act as cover with Robertson off the pitch.
Indeed, Liverpool know they can’t afford any more slip-ups in their remaining fixtures of 2024, and this weekend’s performance should be an indicator that the Reds can end the year on a big high.
