Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann has said he would like to see Darwin Nunez move to Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Nunez has scored just seven goals in 42 games and has started just one of the last 15 league matches for Liverpool.
When it comes to Borussia Dortmund, they have nurtured players in the past and this season it looks like they won’t reach the Champions League,” Hamann said, via CoinCasino.
“Jamie Gittens has made it clear that he will want to leave the club if that is the case so there might be some movement there.
I'd love to see Nunez in the Bundesliga because forwards have rejuvenated or kicked started their careers here in the past.
“Looking at Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski and more, the question might be whether Dortmund can afford him because Liverpool paid around £80million ($106M) and will want at least half of that back.
But I think Nunez is tailor made for Borussia Dortmund.”
