His struggle for consistent playing time is evident, with only 16 starts from his 35 appearances and 24 matches as a substitute.
While he has had his moments, with his double to win the game at Brentford in January probably the highlight, Nunez has struggled to make any sort of impact as the Reds close in on the Premier League title.
As it stands he will be leaving for greener pastures in the summer, with several top European clubs, as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia showing genuine interest in him.
