Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has posted to social media for the second time in as many days after coming under fire following his miss during the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.
The Uruguayan squandered a guilt-edged chance in the closing stages of the clash in the Midlands.
Dominik Szoboszlai was played through on goal and unselfishly squared it to the Reds number nine, but with Axel Disasi looking to make a last-ditch block the attacker blazed over from close-range.
Nunez came under fire for the miss and was the subject of further comments from head coach Arne Slot in wake of the draw.
The Dutchman admitted that he could "accept" the squandering of the opportunity but said he would speak to the 25-year-old about his attitude for his response to the setback.

The former Benfica talisman responded to comments from the new Reds boss on Thursday and posted a cryptic Instagram story on Friday with a picture of his Liverpool shirt with 'Darwin 9,' on the back as well as the raising hands, muscle and praying emoji.
It follows on from his defiant post in the aftermath of their seventh top-flight draw of the campaign.
In a post on social media, Nunez said: "I was not the best three weeks ago nor am I the worst now.

Resilience!"
Nunez has scored four goals in the Premier League this term, including his match-winning brace in the dramatic win over Brentford in January.
However, with Liverpool's title challenge and Champions League aspirations set to go down to the wire, pressure is mounting on the attacker to showcase his importance to the Reds - after enduring an indifferent career on Merseyside so far.
