Liverpool will return to Premier League action on Wednesday night when they host Newcastle United at Anfield (8:15pm kick-off).

Last time out, Arne Slot's side claimed a 2-0 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium while Arsenal were stunned to a 1-0 home defeat to West Ham.

The win against City was a significant step in their push for the Premier League title which they haven't won since the 2019/20 season.

Liverpool could be set to receive a big-money send off from Nike if they are successful in the Premier League and Champions League.

The club will receive £2m if they lift the Premier League trophy this season, according to the Athletic.

A further £2m will be given if they reach the European final but if they win the competition, Liverpool will receive double that amount (£4m).
