The centre forward position is one in the plans of the Reds, with Darwin Nunez expected to leave in the summer after falling out of favour, while Diogo Jota remains pretty unreliable given his injury record and poor performances of late.
They will be expected to swoop in for another striker that suits Arne Slot’s style and demands.
Alexander Isak is high on the club’s wishlist, but his hefty price tag could prove problematic in securing a deal.
As per outgoings, there is uncertainty regarding Ibrahima Konate as he approaches the final year of his contract, with no significant progress in negotiations.
