Fabrizio Romano has revealed the amount Liverpool could potentially pay if they want to sign Dean Huijsen this summer.
Liverpool are one of the clubs reportedly interested in signing the Bournemouth defender in the summer.
On Monday, TEAMtalk revealed that Arne Slot’s side were keen on signing the defender as they see him as a long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk.
“TEAMtalk sources state that Liverpool are among the clubs who have been impressed with Huijsen and are keen on securing his services in the summer transfer window,” the report said.
Huijsen only joined Bournemouth from Juventus in a £15m deal last summer.
However, his impressive showing for the top-six-chasin Cherries has alerted several top clubs in Europe over a potential move.
The 19-year-old has made 22 appearances so far for Andoni Iraola’s side, scoring two goals.
Fabrizio Romano has now revealed the details of his Bournemouth contract and how much potential suitors could pay to sign the Netherland-born defender.
What is the release clause of Dean Huijsen?
According to the reliable journalist, Liverpool could sign Dean Huijsen for £50m this summer.
“Dean Huijsen’s contract at Bournemouth includes £50m release clause,” the journalist wrote on X.
“The clause is 100% confirmed as revealed in January.
