Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk is interviewed by Sky Sports(Image: Sky Sports - YouTube)
Virgil van Dijk has revealed when he expects his Liverpool future to be resolved.
The Reds captain currently remains out of contract at the end of the season, with his next move the subject of intense scrutiny as a result.
The 33-year-old revealed back in October that contract talks with the club had formally been opened.

While currently free to sign pre-contract agreements with overseas clubs, Van Dijk has reiterated his commitment to Liverpool.
And the Netherlands international has insisted he remains calm about his future, admitting he is expecting a resolution one way or the other before the end of the season.

“It’s all about the next couple of months,” he said when asked about his future by former Liverpool captain Jamie Redknapp in an interview for Sky Sports.
But as long as I’m calm, I think the rest of the world can stay calm as well.
“When there is a definite answer on my future, it will probably be out.
I’m quite calm about it.
“It’s quite funny because I remember when Gini - obviously a friend of mine - Wijnaldum was out of contract and in his last six months at the club, I said to him I couldn’t believe how calm he was.
“But now being in the situation myself, I’m in a very good place.
