The football achievements of Ronaldo do not need explaining and surpassing any of the Portuguese star’s records can be considered very impressive.
The former Man United star’s best-ever season in the Premier League came during the 2007/08 campaign, where the forward produced 31 goals and six assists, numbers that would help him win his first Ballon d’Or.
Luis Garcia has called for Salah to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or this year and his latest achievement will certainly help his case.

The Egyptian star has now produced 24 goals and 14 assists this season with his Aston Villa goal, surpassing Ronaldo’s best campaign at Man United having played 12 games less.
This was not the only achievement the 32-year-old accomplished at Villa Park as the Reds winger set a new Liverpool record to cement himself as a club legend even further.
Don Hutchison described Salah as ‘devastating’ in his current form and that is the attitude the superstar has taken to breaking records in a Liverpool shirt.
Salah’s goal against Aston Villa has set a new Liverpool record of scoring 15 away Premier League goals in a single campaign.
This sees the winger surpass Suarez, who netted 14 during the 2013/14 campaign.
Both these records will only strengthen the 32-year-old’s bargaining power when it comes to a new Liverpool contract as the superstar is yet to agree a new deal at Anfield ahead of the summer.
