Harvey Elliott has named Alisson Becker as someone who he would 'die for' after hailing the Liverpool goalkeeper's stunning display against Paris Saint-Germain.
The Brazil international made several superb saves as the Reds secured a 1-0 win in the Champions League round-of-16 first leg at the Parc des Princes last week.
Another hero for Liverpool in the French capital was Elliott himself, who scored the one and only goal of the game just 47 seconds after coming on as a substitute.
The attacking midfielder was hailed by fans for his vital late contribution, even getting mobbed on a trip to Sainsbury's to buy toilet roll in the days following the match.
However, Elliott admitted to former Manchester United and Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster that it wouldn't have been possible without Alisson's incredible performance between the sticks.
Speaking as Liverpool prepare to host PSG for the second leg at Anfield on Tuesday night, the 21-year-old said he was blown away by his team-mate's contribution.
"I don't think at this moment in time that there's a keeper out there that could keep us in the game so much.
"It was not only this game but there's been so many others before where he's made massive saves and played a massive part.
You want to die for him, because he puts his heart in the line for us.

"There are so many saves where I look and think, 'how on earth have you managed to save it?' He's unbelievable.
He made nine saves on the night in total - the most for a Liverpool keeper in the a single Champions League match since Opta began recording the data in 2003-04.
Arne Slot will now be hoping his side can make the most of their one-goal advantage as they look to progress to the quarter-finals of the competition.
