Diogo Jota has sent a message to Jurgen Klopp after news of the former Liverpool's first job after leaving Anfield.
Klopp left the Reds in the summer after spending almost nine years in the dugout as the club's manager.
Liverpool replaced Klopp with Arne Slot, who took on the role as the club's new head coach.
Since being appointed, Slot has won nine of his first 10 matches in charge in all competitions, with the Reds currently top of the Premier League in the October international break.

Jota joined Liverpool in 2020 and was among the signings Klopp brought to Merseyside after the Reds won the Premier League title.
The 27-year-old has gone on to score 60 goals in 154 appearances for Liverpool, including two this season.

It was confirmed on Wednesday that Klopp would become the new Global Head of Soccer for the Red Bull network in his first job since leaving Liverpool.
The role will see Klopp help support clubs in the group, including RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, the New York Red Bulls, and Red Bull Bragantino.

Jota was asked about how he has found working with Slot this season, and also sent a message to Klopp after his recent new job announcement.
"I think the start has been positive for me and for the club, things are going well, that's what we're trying to bring to the national team," Jota told Portuguese news outlet Record.

Jota is part of the Portugal squad that is set to have Nations League fixtures against Poland and Scotland over the next week.
