Diogo Jota’s girlfriend was flooded with support as she issued an update about her son.

Away from the pitch, the striker is in a long term relationship with Rute Cardoso.

The couple have three children together.



Rute took to Instagram yesterday to celebrate their son’s fourth birthday.

Rute posted a heartwarming picture of the pair kissing their son Dinis on the cheeks.

In the accompanying caption, Rute said “four years” and added emojis of a teddy bear and a blue love heart.
