Dominik Szoboszlai insists Liverpool will be ignoring Arsenal this weekend despite being on the verge of winning the Premier League title.
The Reds are a maximum of just two wins from being confirmed as champions.
It will see them claim the Premier League for the second time in their history, while it would round off an outstanding first season under Arne Slot.
The title could even be secured this weekend should Arsenal lose to struggling Ipswich and Liverpool beat Leicester later in the day - a result that would confirm the Midland club’s relegation back to the Championship.
Despite being so close, Szoboszlai claims that Liverpool will not be paying attention to goings on at Portman Road.
We have to be focused every game for 90 minutes.”
Speaking about Liverpool’s upcoming title, Szoboszlai has suggested that it is just reward for the Reds after a season that has brought with it a number of challenges.
He added: “It’s good because we have worked so hard for the whole season to get to this point.

“And everybody was involved somehow – from the players, from the staff, from the fans, from the city, from everybody.
Ups and downs, but it was really good.”
Should the title not be sealed this weekend against Leicester, the Merseysiders will then have another golden opportunity in a weeks’ time - ironically against Arsenal’s fierce rivals Tottenham at Anfield.
