Inter Milan president Giuseppe Marotta has not ruled out making a move for Mohamed Salah if the forward leaves Liverpool at the end of his contract.
The Egyptian has enjoyed another impressive season with the Reds, returning 32 goals and 22 assists from 45 appearances.
Such form has helped fire Arne Slot’s men toward the Premier League title, with Liverpool 11 points clear at the top of the table and needing a maximum of 11 points from their final seven games to be crowned champions.

The Reds’ title charge has come despite intense speculation and uncertainty regarding the futures of three of their star players with Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold all out of contract this summer.

While Alexander-Arnold is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer, both Salah and Van Dijk have admitted publicly that they would favour staying put at Anfield.
The trio have been free to hold contract talks with overseas clubs since January 1, while they will be allowed to enter negotiations with domestic sides from the end of May.
The Reds trio aren’t the only big-name players out of contract across Europe this summer, with Kevin De Bruyne and Thomas Muller both announcing last week that they would be leaving Manchester City and Bayern Munich respectively.
And now Inter Milan president Marotta has hinted that the Serie A giants would be interested in signing either veteran or Salah this summer.
"He's a good player like many others in our notebooks,” Marotta said on Sky when quizzed about Marseille striker Luis Henrique.
For now, however, it's still early.”
When he was then quizzed about Salah, De Bruyne and Muller, Marotta replied replied: “You need precise characteristics to build a winning team: young players, veterans, and an Italian backbone you must safeguard.
“You have to contain the costs, too.
Our philosophy is to create assets.
“In the summer, we wish to invest in talents with great upside.”
Inter Milan are currently three points clear at the top of the Serie A table with seven games left to play and won 2-1 at Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final first leg on Tuesday night.
The Nerazzurri are also drawing 1-1 with AC Milan after the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final as they chase a treble.
Inter Milan will also compete in the inaugural edition of the expanded FIFA Club World Cup this summer, which gets underway on June 14.

If the Italian giants wished to sign Salah and have him take part in the tournament, they would likely need to pay Liverpool a small transfer fee as the superstar's contract would not yet have expired.
