Liverpool could be crowned Premier League champions today with a win or draw against Tottenham.
The Merseyside giants have the chance to confirm their status as the best team in England with four games left to go this Premier League season, with Liverpool the strong favourites to get a result against their north London opponents this afternoon.
With the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City failing to maintain their form from the last two seasons, Liverpool have fired their way to the Premier League title with next-to-no competition, with Arne Slot set to cap his first year off in England with one of the biggest prizes in football.
And former attacker Ryan Babel has now shared a message with Liverpool fans ahead of today’s clash at Anfield.

Taking to Twitter, the former Ajax and Fulham attacker sent his support to Liverpool and urged the squad to get the job done against Tottenham in the Premier League to give the supporters at Anfield a day they will not forget.
Babel wrote ahead of this afternoon’s clash on Merseyside: “Good morning folks – today it’s Liverpool day!!
YNWA.”
With Gary Neville predicting a high-scoring win for Liverpool, there is a real chance that today could go down as one of the best days in the Reds’ recent history if Slot’s side can blow Tottenham out of the water at Anfield.

And with former players like Babel sending messages of support to the squad and the club as a whole, Liverpool will have a real sense of motivation and determination to get the job done in an emphatic fashion against Tottenham.
Liverpool are guaranteed to win the Premier League title this season, with one point needed from five games having been by far and away the best team in the English top-flight thanks to the work put in by Slot in evolving the squad.
And winning the title today and doing so by putting on a show could make April 27th, 2025 a historic day for Liverpool Football Club, with supporters itching to celebrate a championship at long last having been robbed of that pleasure in 2020 because of Covid-19.
Indeed, Liverpool as a city could become an explosion of red and passion this evening with a positive result against Tottenham, and the squad will want nothing more than to give the fans what they’ve been waiting for this season.
