Nine games remain between now and the end of the season for Liverpool, yet one eye already seems to be cast on the summer transfer window.
Things are starting to ramp up heading into the final portion of the Premier League season, where Liverpool are expected to march on towards the title in what will be a stunning achievement in Arne Slot’s first year in charge in England.
Heading into the summer, though, the Dutch manager has a big task ahead of him, with Liverpool looking to make five new signings as part of a squad overhaul that could see the Reds look completely transformed next season.
And one Liverpool player is already attracting interest from Eintracht Frankurt, who have now made an enquiry.

According to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, the Bundesliga side have made an enquiry for Wataru Endo, with the Japanese international ‘allowed’ to leave Liverpool this summer having hardly featured under Slot.
Endo has been linked with an exit from Liverpool in recent weeks, with all signs pointing towards the midfielder returning to the Bundesliga, with Frankfurt now seemingly taking a commanding lead in the race for the 32-year-old.
Plettenberg wrote: “Eintracht Frankfurt have enquired about Wataru Endo.
The 32-year-old midfielder is a possible candidate for Eintracht in the summer, but other names are also being considered.

“Endo is allowed to leave Liverpool, as reported.
Frankfurt are informed about the situation, as per Bild and confirmed.”
With Endo ready to take a pay-cut to leave Liverpool this summer, it’s safe to say that the former VfB Stuttgart captain is keen to move on from Anfield and to begin a new chapter in his career away from Merseyside.
And Liverpool need to ensure that they’re doing all they can to sell Endo, with the Japanese international simply too good to be allowed to sit on the bench for another season having hardly played under Slot during this campaign.
Indeed, Endo already having an enquiry from Frankfurt is an encouraging sign that the midfielder will be sold, and Liverpool could end up making a good fee for the former Bundesliga star if the right club comes in this summer.
