Manchester City star Erling Haaland has shown his support to Liverpool rival Dominik Szoboszlai after the Reds extended their lead at the top of the Premier League.

It was well received, with Ryan Gravenberch and Luis Diaz sharing their support in the comments.

However, Haaland offered a surprising reaction to his Premier League rival moving a step closer to ending their reign as champions.

When I came to sign, it was not official yet, I sent him a picture of a Liverpool shirt and he was like, 'Oh, what's happening?'
