Fascinating images of the new Everton stadium have been revealed ahead of final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

The project’s impact extends beyond football, as it aims to revitalize a previously underutilized part of the city, attracting millions of visitors and contributing significantly to the local economy.
Estimates suggest that the new stadium could deliver a boost of £1.3 billion to the economy, thanks to increased tourism and business opportunities.
The stadium itself is designed to offer a world-class experience for fans and players alike.
With a proposed capacity of 52,888, it features a bowl design constructed of steel and glass, inspired by the architectural elegance of modern football venues.

The existing dock has been filled with reclaimed sand from the River Mersey, and the structure includes a 13,000-seater stand reminiscent of the “Yellow Wall” at Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadion.

The exterior will boast a brick facade at the lower end, blending seamlessly with the industrial character of the area, while the upper part will feature a metal exterior with glazed sections behind the goals.
Despite initial plans to move into the new stadium at the start of the 2024/25 season, Everton has decided to remain at Goodison Park for one final season.
This decision was influenced by commercial and logistical considerations, as well as feedback from supporters.
