Liverpool's contract sagas look to be coming to an end for this season, with decisions on Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold expected to be confirmed soon.

Mohamed Salah has now ended any speculation over his future by signing a new deal at Anfield.

The Egyptian is now set to stay on Merseyside until 2027, having been one of a big-name trio in danger of leaving the club for free this summer.

It's expected that Van Dijk will be following his lead very soon.

Although the Liverpool captain remained coy on an extension when speaking to reporters on Sunday, he does look set to put pen to paper on a new two-year contract, which will give Arne Slot the ideal start to the summer as he looks to build upon what will surely be a title-winning campaign.
