Alexander Isak has been told that a big performance in Sunday's Carabao Cup final could open up the possibility of a move to a "bigger club."
Isak has established himself as one of the best strikers in the Premier League since moving to Newcastle in 2022, and he has been linked with a move away this summer, with Liverpool and Arsenal among the clubs who are likely to be in the market for a striker.

Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock thinks that the $143 million-rated Isak could put himself in the shop window with a good performance in the cup final.
Either way, he will be eager to showcase his ability on the big stage.”
A report by Caught Offside earlier this week said that Isak was among list of five players at the top of the club's summer wishlist
Newcastle trio Isak, Anthony Gordon and Lewis Hall were joined on the shortlist by Joao Pedro of Brighton and Wolves' Matheus Cunha
It is claimed that Liverpool is planning for a "big summer" after two fairly inactive windows - last summer and in the January just gone.
Liverpool reportedly accepts that signing all of the aforementioned three Newcastle players will be virtually impossible, which is why Cunha and Pedro have been identified as alternatives to Isak
Cunha will almost certainly leave Wolves this summer, having signed a new contract earlier this year on the condition that he would be allowed to leave were his release clause to be met.
But Isak would almost certainly be Liverpool's preference as the Reds look for a goalscorer to replace Nunez, who has not lived up to expectations since his big-money switch from Benfica three years ago.
