Former Liverpool ace Sadio Mane has become a father for the first time with his young wife.

Tamba was still studying when she met Liverpool icon Mane, who reportedly promised to marry her as soon as they began dating.

The couple have now welcomed their first child, a baby girl, as announced by Mane's current club, Al-Nassr.

In celebration of his daughter's birth, Mane marked his goal in Al-Nassr's 3-1 victory over Al-Kholood on Friday by cradling his arms.

Mane's club were at the heart of the public announcement that he'd become a dad.

Al-Nassr shared a captivating clip showing him reciting an impactful verse from the Quran as he strolled around the club's training premises.
