Liverpool have not yet made a final decision on their top summer transfer target at left-back, Rousing The Kop understands.
The Reds are looking to bolster their options on the left of defence having seen Andy Robertson’s form suffer during the season.
As they search for a younger solution, Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
But although Kerkez is seen as having the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world, RTK understands that Liverpool could yet pivot in their search.
The Hungarian is attracting interest from other clubs across Europe and is understood to remain the favoured option by many at Anfield.
However, Liverpool retain a strong interest in Fulham’s Antonee Robinson and have not ruled out a move to sign the USA international.

As Liverpool look to find a successor to Robertson, the two players have emerged as front-runners in their search.

The dilemma is not understood to be a financial one, with both Kerkez and Robinson expected to be available for £40-45m this summer.
After such a stellar season with the Cottagers, Fulham would not stand in the way of Robinson leaving, while Bournemouth are expecting to cash in on Kerkez amid mounting interest.
Liverpool hope to generate funds by offloading Kostas Tsimikas, who is still in-line to be sold despite a recent run in Arne Slot’s starting XI.
Although there is still some uncertainty over who Liverpool will bring in, it is understood that Kerkez remains the slight favourite as things stand.
However, the Hungary international is taking his time to sound out potential suitors before making a firm decision on his future.
Man City have been one of the sides reported to be showing interest in Kerkez, but City sources have played down the possibility of a transfer happening.
Real Madrid are another potentially interested party, with Kerkez’s representatives doing their due diligence on finding the right move for the left-back.
