Suggestions Liverpool are ready to actively put Diogo Jota on the market this summer are wide of the mark, Rousing The Kop understands.
Jota has struggled to hit top form in recent months having recovered from injury in December.
Having scored just one goal in 11 matches, there have been suggestions that Liverpool could put Jota up for sale.
However, RTK have been informed that the existing changes which are planned for the Reds forward line make it unlikely the Portuguese will be sold this summer.
Liverpool are actively targeting new attackers, but with Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa both expected to leave, the Reds are wary of too much upheaval.
Mohamed Salah’s future is understood to have a bearing on Liverpool’s summer transfer plans, but is not linked to whether Jota stays or goes.

Jota was poor against PSG on Tuesday to underline his struggles since the turn of the year.
Despite his disappointing form, though, Arne Slot is understood to be satisfied with having Jota as part of the Liverpool squad.

Slot is not desperately seeking to replace Jota as such, but is rather looking for an alternative to the 28-year-old.
As a result, RTK understands that Liverpool are doing work on a number of central forward options ahead of the transfer market.

Newcastle superstar Alexander Isak is a high profile target, while the likes of Brighton’s Joao Pedro, Liam Delap of Ipswich and RB Leipzig hitman Benjamin Sesko are all on Liverpool’s radar, too.
Nunez is highly likely to be the player who makes way for a new arrival.
In the event that the Uruguayan stays put at Anfield, Jota may then become a candidate for sale.
As things stand, though, it’s understood that this is not expected to be the case.
Along with Jota, Luis Diaz’s performances for Liverpool have come under fire recently.
The Colombian has scored just once in his past 18 appearances.
Diaz has been heavily linked with Barcelona over recent transfer windows, but RTK understands that there is little chance of a move to Camp Nou.
Barcelona currently boast two of the world’s most in-form wide players in Raphinha and Lamine Yamal, and there is seen to be no room for another expensive signing such as Diaz.
Furthermore, Liverpool are not expected to actively look to move on from Diaz, with a new contract at Anfield still in the pipeline.
With Nunez and Chiesa likely to leave, and Salah’s exit still a possibility, RTK have been informed that there is no chance Liverpool will lose four or more forwards this summer.
