Speaking on a deadline day stream on his YouTube channel, the Italian transfer guru has asserted that the club will be busy in the upcoming transfer window.

He said:

“Liverpool, nothing for this January window but another club that will be really busy in the summer.”

“Liverpool and Arsenal, I know the fans maybe aren’t excited for this January was quiet.”

“But in the summer [things] will be different.”

However, this time it’s seemingly also being backed up by Arne Slot.

In a recent interview with the BBC, the Dutchman likewise confirmed that the club is looking to make signings in the summer:

“Liverpool should always be competing for a league title, we should always be competing for the Champions League.

I’m hoping I will be able to keep the club at that level,” he said.

“I know people sometimes question this because they haven’t seen us doing a lot in the transfer market in the summer and now in the winter as well?

There’s a reason for that – because we’re happy with the squad.”

“But I do know we’re definitely working on strengthening in the summer.”
