Federico Chiesa finally made his Liverpool debut as the Reds returned to winning ways

Federico Chiesa has broken his silence after making his debut for Liverpool.
After the game, several players marked the victory with a celebratory post on social media – one of which being Chiesa.

The Italy international uploaded a handful of pictures from the fixture to his Instagram, racking up over 300,000 likes in just eight hours.
Konstantinos Tsimikas congratulated Chiesa on his debut, while Virgil van Dijk posted a clapping emoji and Szoboszlai posted a fire emoji.

The Liverpool captain marked the occasion with some posts of his own.
On his story, Van Dijk announced that he has now achieved 50 appearances in the Champions League, then captioned a post for his main feed: "Back [shooting star emoji!"

Speaking to Amazon Prime after the game, as quoted by the club website, the Netherlands international explained how his side must react to the win.
We go home now, we’re back home in the middle of the night but recovery starts already, eat the right stuff.

"Because on Saturday it will be a very tough game and we need everyone at their best.
Interestingly, though, at the height of speculation, the forward removed images of himself playing for Liverpool and his Instagram account only showed images of him turning out for Benfica and his country – albeit he was still donning a Liverpool shirt in his profile picture...
