Federico Chiesa sent a message to his wife as she shared an update about her life on Merseyside.

The Liverpool forward was an unused substitute earlier this week as the reds drew 2-2 with Aston Villa in the Premier League.

Chiesa has made just 10 appearances this season after picking up a muscle injury at the beginning of the campaign.



However, with the reds top of the Premier League as well as being in the last-16 of the Champions League and the final of the Carabao Cup, he is likely to still have a role to play this season.

Chiesa could be in the squad this weekend when Liverpool face Manchester City at the Etihad stadium on Sunday afternoon.

She regularly shares updates on her personal life to her 263,000 followers on Instagram.

In her latest post published earlier this week, she posted a series of pictures including one of her at the Albert Dock in Liverpool city centre.

This included one from Chiesa himself.

The Italian footballer said “Beautiful” along with a series of red heart emojis.

Another fan said: “You are wonderful.” A third person said: “Beautiful Lucy.” A fourth person said: “So pretty.”
