But his first season at Anfield hasn’t gone to plan.

He’s struggled to nail down a spot in Arne Slot’s regular starting eleven.

With attacking options like Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota ahead of him, it’s been a tough battle.

Now, just one season into his Liverpool career, reports suggest Chiesa could be on the move.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, three unnamed Premier League clubs are showing interest in the Italian winger.

AC Milan are also keeping close tabs, while Napoli had also tried to sign him back in January.

Chiesa reportedly turned them down at the time, hoping to still make his Liverpool move work.

The report states that “it’s just not working out for the 27-year-old.”

Chiesa is understood to have been keen on staying longer at Anfield, but the writing may be on the wall.

According to CaughtOffside, “Liverpool would likely ask for a fee in the region of €25-30m to let Chiesa go this summer.”

It’s unclear if any of the interested clubs are willing to pay that fee.

Negotiations could bring the number down.

Chiesa was seen as a strong addition when he first arrived.

But with others thriving and his role unclear, a transfer could now be best for all parties.
