The summer transfer window is quickly approaching, which brings a lot of speculation over who might be coming and going for Liverpool when the season comes to an end.

It could therefore save teams millions of pounds.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at five of the young players who could make the step up in the summer.

Despite being just 17-years-old, Nyoni has already made six first team appearances for Liverpool.

The midfielder completed a move from Leicester City in the summer of 2023, after coming through the youth team with the Foxes.

As well as making first team appearances in the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Champions League this season, Nyoni has also played 17 times for the youth teams, with 12 of those appearances coming in Premier League 2.

The 16-year-old made his first, first team appearance for Liverpool in the FA Cup third round win over Accrington in January, where he played 72 minutes.

He has played eight times for Liverpool’s U18s, six times in the UEFA Youth League, once in the FA Youth Cup and five times in Premier League 2 this season.

The son of former Premier League midfielder Neil Danns, Jayden has been breaking into the first team this season.

He has made 24 appearances so far, scoring three goals and providing seven assists.

He has, however, missed the last nine league games after undergoing surgery on his thigh.

It’s a problem that could cut short his season.

The 20-year-old central midfielder has been named on the bench for three of Liverpool’s Premier League games this season, including the most recent 3-1 win over Southampton.

He made his Liverpool debut last season and has made appearances in both the Carabao Cup and the Champions League this campaign.

He will hope to break into the first team more next season.
