The fixture schedule of Liverpool’s UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie against Paris Saint-Germain has been confirmed.

After finishing top of the redesigned Champions League league phase, Liverpool were drawn against the French Ligue 1 side in the first knockout round.

They secured passage in style by beating fellow French team Brest 10-0 on aggregate in the playoff round.

They will now hope to eliminate the six-time UCL winners as they attempt to win their first European crown.

UEFA have confirmed the fixture details for the match.

Date, time and venues for round of 16 tie confirmed

The first leg of the round of 16 tie between Liverpool and PSG will be played at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, March 5, while Anfield hosts the second leg on Tuesday, March 11.

Both matches are 8pm GMT kick-offs.
