Tottenham host Manchester United in the final Carabao Cup quarter-final tonight at 8pm.

The winner will join Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle in the last four, with the draw taking place following the match.

Spurs remain without several notable stars as their injury woes continue.

Guglielmo Vicario, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are all unavailable along with Wilson Odobert, Richarlison, Mikey Moore and Ben Davies.

Rodrigo Bentancur will also miss the match due to his ongoing suspension and Destiny Udogie is a doubt.

However, Yves Bissouma is available to return after serving a suspension against Southampton.

Meanwhile, Luke Shaw is injured for United, who could also be without Mason Mount and Jonny Evans.

Marcus Rashford will be absent once again having not travelled with the rest of the squad to London.

The forward was dropped for Sunday's Manchester derby before missing training the following day through illness.

Jamie Vardy is the subject of an upcoming Netflix documentary charting his incredible journey.

The television series will tell the tale of his career having started in non-league before winning the Premier League with Leicester.

Filming for the documentary is already underway, reports the Telegraph.

Meanwhile, Netflix hope to have the series completed by next autumn.

It will also give fans an insight into the fan-favourite Foxes forward, including his infamous pre-match Red Bulls.

The report adds that Vardy often prepares for fixtures by learning insults in the native language of the opposing centre-backs.

Meanwhile, he spent one morning training session earlier this season booting balls at the windows of Leicester's HQ.

The 37-year-old has scored six goals in 15 Premier League appearances so far this term.

Gabby Agbonlahor told talkSPORT that he doesn’t believe Sean Dyche will keep his role as Everton boss next season.

The former Burnley manager's position at Goodison Park has been the subject of speculation with the Friedkin Group’s takeover now confirmed.

“I think it’s wrong [to get rid of Dyche before the end of the season] but maybe they’ll see it as Sean Dyche always gets that label for the style of football he plays," Agbonlahor told talkSPORT Breakfast.

“Maybe they’ll be like you know what, new stadium, new owners, new style of football, new manager, you know they [The Friedkin Group] might want Everton to start playing football from the back,

“I think they’ve still got a job to do, I mean, you look at the bottom of the table and they’re only three points off Ipswich but if these players can get Everton safe this season, then they’ve done a fantastic job because they’ve had their struggles.

“I just think you can’t see him keeping his job, there will be a manager that they’ll have in line.”

Mathias Pogba, 34, was one of six defendants who stood on trial after being accused of trying to extort €13 million (£10.7m) out of his younger brother, Paul.

The individuals were handed terms of between three and eight years on Thursday after being convicted of extortion attempts against the footballer.

The case dates back to 2022, when Paul Pogba revealed he was subjected to threats and extortion by a criminal group, leading to Mathias being placed under formal investigation.

The 31-year-old midfielder informed prosecutors in Paris that childhood friends had tried to extort him in March 2022, forcing him to pay €100,000 ($104,000) to the group.

Mathias Pogba was sentenced to three years in prison, with two years suspended, for his role in the organized extortion and attempted extortion.

You have to compete with Mo Salah, Cody Gakpo, Lucho [Luis Diaz], Darwin and Diogo [Jota], but it’s good to see that he’s back and that he had a few good moments in the game.”

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has injected a further £79million into Manchester United and has increased his stake in the club.

Ratcliffe, who paid £1.2bn for 27.7 per cent of the club earlier this year, has raised his shareholding to 28.94 per cent with this further planned cash injection.

However, this money has not been earmarked to boost Ruben Amorim’s January transfer budget.

Instead, it will be made available for investment into the infrastructure.

Gabriel Jesus has revealed he told Martin Odegaard that he would score against Crystal Palace - but at least one of his goals shouldn't have stood.

Arsenal's No.9 has struggled for fitness and form this season and had only scored once in all competitions before his hat-trick last night.

Jesus explained post-match: “Obviously the first half wasn’t our best, but still in the second half we did our job, we created more, we kept the ball more, circulated the ball, made passes and then Martin put in two amazing balls in the end and B [Bukayo Saka] as well, and I could finish the action.

“The quality that Martin has is amazing.

At the end we did our job and won the game.”

Jesus may have been even more grateful for the rules of the Carabao Cup than his teammates through balls.

Replays of the striker's second goal at 1-1 that had put Arsenal in front against Palace showed him in an offside position from Bukayo Saka's pass.

However, referees in the Carabao Cup have not been able to call upon VAR - with the technology not in use during the quarter-finals.

To add insult to injury, video assistant referees will become a fixture from the semi-final stage, while it was confirmed this week that VAR will also be used for every FA Cup fifth-round.

American businessman Dan Friedkin wrote a message to Everton fans on the club website: "Following the completion of the takeover of Everton football club, I want to express my gratitude for your continued support and introduce the incoming executive chairman of Everton, Marc Watts.

"I take immense pride in welcoming one of England’s most historic football clubs to our global family, the Friedkin Group.

We are deeply committed to honouring this legacy while contributing positively to the community, economy, and people of this remarkable city.

"Once again, thank you for your continued support."

A Premier League statement read: "The Premier League board has approved the Friedkin Group’s 98.8% acquisition of Everton football club, following the completion of the league’s owners’ and directors’ test.

"Having been agreed by the board, the takeover has now been ratified by an independent oversight panel.

"The club’s new owners and directors have also signed the Premier League’s owners’ charter."

Everton’s takeover by Roma owner Dan Friedkin will allow them to move into their new stadium debt free, talkSPORT understands.

Current owner Farhad Moshiri accepted a lower offer from Dan Friedkin than John Textor was willing to pay to ensure a smoother and quicker sale of the club.

Moshiri will walk away having made a significant loss on his £700m investment after agreeing to sell his 94.1 per cent stake in the Merseysiders to the Friedkin Group, fronted by Friedkin.

Sources close to Moshiri say the takeover is worth between £400m and £500m, the majority of which will be used to convert debts into equity.

Moshiri, the outgoing majority shareholder, said in a statement on the club's website: “I truly believe that the transaction with The Friedkin Group is the best outcome for the Club and its future success.

“There has been a huge team effort in getting to this stage and I would like to personally thank my Board colleagues John Spellman and Colin Chong and all the senior management team including Katie, James, Richard and of course Kevin and Sean for their huge commitment to the Club.
