Confidence is brimming within the Liverpool squad at present.
The Reds moved 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League on Wednesday night after securing a 2-0 victory over Newcastle, while Arsenal would drop more points at Nottingham Forest.
Everyone played their role at Anfield with Mohamed Salah showcasing his armoury of skills, while Luis Diaz received praise from Liverpool fans for his display against the Magpies.
Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate looked comfortable in the Reds’ backline, however, there was one man who stole the show and was key to Arne Slot’s men on Wednesday night.

Dominik Szoboszlai was key to Liverpool’s win over Man City last weekend and the Hungarian picked up where he left off against Newcastle on Wednesday night.
The midfielder would open the scoring after 11 minutes with Ally McCoist praising Szoboszlai for the way he took his goal.
From a defensive point of view, the 24-year-old won four out of five tackles, made two clearances, had 10 defensive actions, eight recoveries, and won 8/10 of his ground duels.
Szoboszlai is impressing everyone associated with Liverpool at present and former Reds defender Steve Nicol was keen to praise the midfielder after his Newcastle display.
Speaking on ESPN FC’s Extra Time in the aftermath of Liverpool’s win over Newcastle, Nicol stated that Szoboszlai looks like a man currently playing with three or four lungs while discussing his turnaround at Anfield.
“I wouldn’t say the whole season has been a turnaround,” Nicol said.
“What he is doing right now, he’s playing as if he’s got three or four lungs because the guy is absolutely running around everywhere.
“When he loses it, he’s the first guy chase.
I think he’s played a little higher this year from last season.”
Szobozlai will now get a bit of rest after two impressive back-to-back displays for Liverpool as PSG in the Champions League is up next for the Reds.
