The Reds restored their 12-point gap at the top of the table after their 1-0 win over rivals Everton in the midweek Merseyside derby.

However, it could come even earlier should the nearest challengers, Arsenal, continue to slip-up, with Everton ironically able to do Liverpool a favour when they face the Gunners on Saturday.

To add insult to injury, Mohamed Salah can equal one long-standing Thierry Henry record while breaking another, both of which from August 2003, should he have a hand in two goals this weekend.

Fulham were unable to affect the title race with a 2-1 defeat to Mikel Arteta's side in midweek but now have a second opportunity.

The Reds only need four more wins and a draw to secure the 13 points needed to guarantee a second Premier League trophy.

The earliest date Liverpool could mathematically win the title is Sunday, April 20.

That would involve Slot's team winning their next two against Fulham and West Ham, with Arsenal losing to both Everton and Brentford.

The Premier League's top two then both play on April 20, with the Gunners drawing or losing away at Ipswich, seeing Liverpool crowned champions before even kicking a ball at Leicester.

Should Arsenal match Liverpool’s results, the latter's chance to claim domestic glory would come at Chelsea on Sunday, May 4.
