Gary Lineker delivered a clear title race verdict for Liverpool after their win over Newcastle United.
The Reds recorded a 2-0 victory at Anfield on Wednesday night to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
Goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister handed Liverpool all three points in their midweek fixture against the Magpies.
The result saw the Reds extend their advantage over Arsenal at the top of the table to 13 points.
Wednesday evening saw the Gunners held to a goalless draw away at Nottingham Forest, which handed Liverpool the opportunity to extend their lead at the Premier League summit.
The gap going into the round of fixtures was 11 points after the weekend's results, which has now increased to 13 after the latest round of matches, with Arsenal still having a game in hand.

Liverpool now have just 10 top-flight fixtures left to play this season, compared to 11 for Arsenal, of which six will be played at Anfield.
After the highlights packages for both the Reds and Arsenal's matches were concluded, the updated Premier League table was shown on screen, which led to Lineker remarking about the title race.
Lineker said: “And there it is – it’s less of a title race and more of a procession, isn’t it?”
The BBC pundit also gave a verdict on Liverpool after the highlights of their win over Newcastle had concluded.
"Liverpool march on, pretty relentless.
"They appear to be running away with this title race, Danny," Lineker added, suggesting the idea to Murphy.
