Gary Neville has delivered a fresh take on Mohamed Salah's contract situation and believes Liverpool are going to be "desperate" to keep him after another match-winning performance.
The 32-year-old scored and assisted in a Premier League game for the 11th time this season as Liverpool beat Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
It's the most by a player in a single season in one of Europe's big five leagues since Lionel Messi for Barcelona in 2014/15.
Although City started on the front foot, Liverpool took the lead in the 14th minute through that man Salah.
A well-worked corner ended with the Egyptian sweeping the ball into the back of the net via deflection.
That goal also marked Salah's 30th in all competitions this campaign - with 25 of them coming in the Premier League.

City continued to probe but were punished by a ruthless break as Liverpool doubled their advantage on 37 minutes.
It marked Salah's 20th assist of what has been a remarkable season.
However, Liverpool could still end up losing Salah for free this summer.
The forward is in the form of his life, but his contract is up in June, and there are fears that he is going to depart for pastures new.
Delivering his opinion on Salah's performance against City and his contract situation, Neville told his Sky Sports podcast: "I am going to bring up his contract and Liverpool are going to be desperate to keep him, but he's one of the very best players the Premier League has seen.
"That's 11 games this season that he has had a goal and an assist in each game which was fed into us when he scored, it's amazing."
The former right-back then added: "Van Dijk is special, Alisson is a great goalkeeper and they've got other good players in the team.

"But I always think when you are a player that is sat there in your shape for 90 minutes, Van Dijk and [Ibrahima] Konate did it really well today, you always have to be most grateful for the player that goes and wins you the match because that's the most difficult and special thing, and that's what Salah has gone and done."
