Liverpool knew they could not win the Premier League title on Easter Sunday after seeing Arsenal thrash Ipswich Town earlier in the day.
Nevertheless, a win was still expected from the Reds as they faced a Leicester City side on the brink of relegation.
Things started relatively well for Liverpool, Mohamed Salah hitting the post twice with the same shot and bringing another couple of saves out of Mads Hermansen.
But having failed to find the net, Liverpool slipped into the same, lethargic performance we’ve come to expect from the champions in waiting recently.

With the ball, Bradley looked a threat and certainly adds something a little different to Liverpool’s attacks.
But defensively the 21-year-old wasn’t quite at his best against Leicester.
Mavididi is a tricky customer and has shown plenty of spark despite the Foxes’ dismal season.
However, there were times where Bradley was caught sleeping.
Liverpool will surely sign a right-back this summer, and it may be that Arne Slot is using these final Premier League games to decide whether he needs a starter or a back-up to Bradley.
On performances like this, it’s hard to say which way Slot will land.
