Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table over the weekend with their victory over Manchester City.

The Reds claimed a 2-0 win on their away trip to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon to move 11 points clear at the top of the table.

Arne Slot's side moved further clear of Arsenal in the Premier League standings with the win over City, but they do have a game in hand compared to the Gunners.



Liverpool will now look ahead to another midweek top-flight fixture when they host Newcastle United at Anfield.
