Gary Neville has questioned whether Mohamed Salah may be sending the Liverpool hierarchy a message regarding his future through social media.

Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold's Anfield contracts expire in the summer of 2025.
After his winning goal against the Seagulls on Saturday, which sent Liverpool back to the Premier League summit, Salah took to the social media platform and wrote: "Top of the table is where this club belongs.
No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like." Neville discussed possible theories for Salah's cryptic message with Rebecca Lowe in the latest edition of the It's Called Soccer podcast.
When asked for his take, the Manchester United legend said: "I thought he'd leave about 3, 4, 5 years ago; I didn't think he'd score the goals he's scored over this time and be as brilliant as he has.
"I don't know, is he sending a message to them because he wants a golden package to stay, and that's him saying, 'You better value me in the same way players have been valued at other clubs'.
