Injuries aside, however, Liverpool were still dominant and Murphy now believes the Reds have the ‘control’ heading into the Carabao Cup final.

Newcastle themselves have had recent Wembley trips, they, however, have not enjoyed the same success – losing out in the 2023 Carabao Cup final against Manchester United.
