The latest of Liverpool’s right-back targets though comes in the shape of Feyenoord’s Givairo Read.
Liverpool are said to be targeting Read, with a potential summer swoop for the young Dutchman on the cards.
With that being said, the defender is relatively unknown outside of his native Netherlands – so Rousing The Kop thought it would be worthwhile taking a closer look at the possible Alexander-Arnold replacement.

He spent most of his childhood growing up in the capital city of Amsterdam, later moving to Volendam to join their academy in 2017.

The 18-year-old has featured for the Netherlands youth setup on a number of occasions, playing for both the u17s and u19s.
The Dutchman primarily plays as a right-back but he can also deputise on the other flank as a left-back.
Givairo Read stands at approximately 5ft 8 inches tall (1.75m), he does however still have room to develop physically still being so young.

When asked about his main strength, Read said: “Attacking is one of my greatest qualities, so I always try to bring that to the team.
Despite his attacking background, the Dutchman is also solid defensively – as shown by his impressive performance against AC Milan’s Rafael Leao in the Champions League playoffs.
Still just 18 years old, Read has a lot more room to improve and what better way to learn your craft than to play alongside the likes of Virgil van Dijk?
