PSG return to Liverpool this week in what could be one of the most entertaining UEFA Champions League matches of the season.

The French giants were somehow unable to score last week in Paris as Alisson Becker enjoyed what he described as his best game ever for Liverpool, with the Brazilian international standing firm as Harvey Elliott snuck in a late winner.

One player who was lively for PSG was last week against Liverpool was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, with the Georgia international having a goal ruled out for offside by the thinnest of margins as the winger caused havoc against the Reds defence.

And the former Napoli man, who Liverpool tried to sign last year from the Serie A side, has now shared his thoughts on playing at Anfield and predicted what PSG will do against the Reds on Merseyside.

Speaking to the press ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League tie, the PSG attacker shared his confidence in the Ligue 1 giants scoring against Liverpool whilst also noting that Anfield will be a difficult ground for the visiting side.

With Paulo Dybala recently praising Anfield, Liverpool’s home stadium is still held in the highest regard by some of the best players in world football, yet even with this in mind, Kvaratskhelia still believes PSG can cause some damage against the Reds.

The Georgia international said about this week’s tie: “We had so many opportunities to score in the first game and were the better team.

It was disappointing to lose but we have to prepare ourselves properly for the second game.

“Liverpool are a good team and Anfield is a good ground for them.

But we can take a lot of confidence from the way we played and if we are the same in the second game then I think we will score the goals we need.”

PSG are fully aware that they could have come away from last week’s first-leg with a big scoreline, with the final finish simply not there as Liverpool’s incredible run of form once again continued in Europe.

Yet key figures within the French club have now decided to accept that the tie is over, with PSG manager Luis Enrique recently claiming that his side are more dangerous than ever with so much on the line at Anfield.

Indeed, PSG have the quality to give Liverpool a real scare at Anfield tomorrow night, and the Reds need to ensure that they remain at their best if they’re to progress to the next round of the Champions League.
